The MA-850 Tubular tower has a maximum extended height (without mast) of 85'.
Its minimum nested height is 23'6" and the tower weighs 943 lbs. This
tower consists of 5 sections, the top one being a 3" square tube and the
bottom being a 10" OD tube. The MA-850 comes standard with a hand winch.
* The
MA-850 does require the purchase of either the MAB-850 Freestanding Hinged Base
or the MARB-850 Freestanding Rotor Base. This tower is too substantial to be
used with the flat base and the eve mount bracket.
The average wind load ratings for the MA-850
are as follows:
70 MPH Winds -- 6.3 sq. feet; 50 lbs.
50 MPH Winds -- 15.3 sq feet; 75 lbs.

The MA-850 is also available as the
MA-850MDP -- a package of the
MA-850 tower with our MDP-750 motor drive. (The MA-850MDP does require the
purchase of either the MCL-100 Limit Switch Control or the RMC-1000 Remote
Control.)
It can also be paired with the above listed
accessories.
