The MA-550 Tubular tower has a maximum extended height (without mast) of 55'. Its minimum nested height is 22'1" and the tower weighs 435 lbs. This tower consists of 3 sections, the top one being a 3" square tube and the bottom being a 6" OD tube. The MA-550 comes standard with a hand winch, a flat base with qty. of 2 -- 1/2" x 10" anchor bolts, an eave mount bracket and a 4' ft. rotor mast, to allow placement of your rotor at the top of the tower.
The average wind load ratings for the MA-550 are as follows:

70 MPH Winds -- 9 sq. feet; 65 lbs.
50 MPH Winds -- 22 sq feet; 100 lbs.

The MA-550 is also available as the MA-550MDP -- a package of the MA-550 tower with our MDP-750 motor drive. (The MA-550MDP does require the purchase of either the MCL-100 Limit Switch Control or the RMC-1000 Remote Control.)
